Scale: C minor blues
Description: A six-note extension of the minor pentatonic that adds a flattened 5th (1, ♭3, 4, ♭5, 5, ♭7). This is the archetypal blues scale for guitar and vocal lines, used in blues, rock, jazz and fusion for bends, slides and chromatic tension around the 4-♭5-5 area.
