Scale: C mixolydian pentatonic
Description: A dominant-flavoured pentatonic (commonly 1, 2, 3, 5, ♭7) that strips out the 4th and 6th from Mixolydian. It is useful for concise, groove-oriented dominant 7 lines in blues, funk and rock, keeping only the root, 3rd, 5th and flat 7 with one extra colour tone.
